fuckyeahtattoos: The Giving Tree by Shel Silverstein. Tattoo by Jordan Ross-2D Ink, Minot ND. This is the first of my sleeve which will adventually consist of other authors who have inspired me through the years.

This is my third tattoo, and I’m already in love with it. My parents used to read me Shel Silverstein poems when I was little and I still read his books today. This particular poem, which is from the newest compilation With Everything On Top, really makes me think of my dad. He passed away last fall and most of the inspiration for my tattoos comes from him. This was done by Matt Bushart at Enchanted Dragon Tattoo Parlor in Sierra Vista, AZ.

fuckyeahtattoos: This is my second tattoo. I got it at No Regrets in Memphis. The guys there are awesome and very professional (also extremely talented). Anywho, this is an illustration by Shel Silverstein for his poem “Baby Bat.” He was always one of my favorite authors as a child, and I have more recently started to really love his illustrations (:

fuckyeahtattoos: I got this tattoo about three months ago for my Dad. It’s from the book The Giving Tree and to me, he is my Tree. My Dad has always given to me even when he had nothing else to give. Wether it was all he had or found a way to get me what I wanted and/or needed he did. Till this day he keeps giving. And, I love him for that. I got this done by Sean Dillon at Rock n’ Willy’s in the Poconos, PA.

Got a new tattoo today =] Not what I went in for at first, but I’m glad I got this!! Better pics up later after it heals…Done by Peter Faehnrich at Savannah Ink - ardentlywasted
